West Gets New Murals

Portland artist and former Vegas High School graduate, Greg HIggins, came to West Prep to lend his skills to beautify our campus. The original mural in the main office depicts our husky mascot blended with our southwestern setting. Also, Mr. Higgins painted the blackline images for the new garden mural sponsored by the City of Las Vegas. Then staff, students, and parents participated in the painting. The words "respect", "culture", and "success" were selected after parents were surveyed on the values they held as most valuable for West Prep students.
