DRESS CODE 

West Prep has a Standard Student Attire expectation and West Prep students are asked to adhere to specific guidelines associated with student dress.

 

ELEMENTARY STANDARD STUDENT ATTIRE

 

SHIRTS

Forest Green shirts must be solid in color with no stripes, no graphics, and no logos other than the West Prep logo.  Undershirts must be white and tucked inside of the pants or skirt. White or Navy Blue Sweatshirt may also be worn, but the Forest Green collared shirt must be worn underneath. No hooded sweatshirts are permitted on campus for safety/security reasons.  Undershirts may be worn under the approved attire, but they may be blue, or white in color and be tucked inside of the pants or skirt.

 

PANTS/SKIRTS/SKORTS

Pants, skirts, and shorts are to be khaki or tan only.khaki or tan only.

MIDDLE SCHOOL STANDARD STUDENT ATTIRE

SHIRTS

White or Navy Blue collared shirts. "Polo" style only. 
White or Navy Blue Sweatshirt may also be worn, but the White or Navy collared shirt must be worn underneath. 
No hooded sweatshirts are permitted on campus for safety/security reasons.  Undershirts may be worn under the approved attire, but they may be blue, or white in color and be tucked inside of the pants or skirt.

 

SWEATERS/COATS

White or Navy Blue Sweaters or Coats may also be worn, but you must wear the White or Navy Blue collared shirt under the coat. Note: NO LOGOS except the school’s logo can be worn on shirts, sweaters, or coats. 

 

PANTS

Pants must be Navy Blue or Tan Khaki’s. Khaki is defined as a colored cloth made usually of cotton or wool. Any other fabric may be considered out of dress code. For an example of approved styles, see the display in school cafeteria. Appropriate fit is required.

 

SKIRTS

Female students may wear Navy Blue or Tan skirts rising no higher than where the fingertips reach the thigh.

 

HIGH SCHOOL STANDARD STUDENT ATTIRE

SHIRTS

Grey or Black collared shirts. "Polo" style only. 


SWEATERS/COATS

Grey or Black Sweatshirt may also be worn, but the Grey or Black collared shirt must be worn underneath. No hooded sweatshirts are permitted on campus for safety/security reasons. Undershirts may be worn under the approved attire, but they may be black, grey or white in color and be tucked inside of the pants or skirt.
